31st July - Jodie's pallet knife portrait of Kevin Mitchell was selected as a finalist in the upcoming Black Swan Portraiture Prize as seen below on the right.
In July 2008 Jodie had the pleasure of meeting and painting a portrait of the talented musician Kevin Mitchell. Kevin is the lead singer/guitarist for both of the popular bands Jebediah and Bob Evans. These portraits have been entered into the prestigious Black Swan Portrait Prize competition which is being held in Perth in September.
