My paintings are mostly done impasto style... thick, lustrous, and wonderfully messy.

 I spread the oil paint onto the canvas with a palette knife which gives the paintings a 3D quality, evoking desires to touch and visually scrutinise.  On close inspection my paintings appear abstract, containing many different colours, but when viewed from a distance, the eye naturally blends those colours and a recognisable image forms.

I work from my home studio at Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast.
